Being Brave Club - Grounded & Wild

The Being Brave Club teamed up with Sunset Beach for a “Grounded & Wild” event at which included an EAGALA horse experience, a women’s wellness workshop, and a hike of the Douglas Park sand dunes.

The EAGALA experience was facilitated by Haley Ralko, and guests were encouraged to interact with horses Ten, Peppy, Opal, and baby Max, in an experience of discovery and change. The horses’ sensitivity to humans brought out different emotions and self-reflection in many of the guests.

Guests were then led through a women’s wellness workshop with registered therapeutic councellor Tara Duckworth to learn about self-care, self-trust, and intuition.

The event ended up with a hide through the Douglas Provincial Park sand dunes, a hidden gem just a short drive from Sunset Beach.
