Sunset Beach Amenities

Sunset Beach at Lake Diefenbaker offers a thoughtfully planned range of amenities designed to support relaxed lake living and everyday enjoyment. From convenient lake access to shared outdoor spaces, the amenities at Sunset Beach enhance the experience of owning property in a welcoming Saskatchewan lake community.

Boat Launch

Sunset Beach lot owners enjoy exclusive access to our boat launch and dock system located in the protected inlet of Dog Leg Coulee.

Because the launch is not open to the public, owners benefit from quick and convenient access to Lake Diefenbaker, even during busy summer weekends.

A secure key fob system provides easy access to the boat launch, and a nearby parking area allows owners to leave trailers on site while spending the day on the lake. This amenity is designed to maximize time on the water and minimize the delays often experienced at public launches.

A designated parking area for golf carts, quads, wagons, and strollers is located just north of the beach ramp. From there, a short walk across the road leads through a fenced Municipal Reserve directly to the beach.  A nearby bike rack has also been added to support a range of transportation options.

Recreational Trails

Sunset Beach features approximately 3.5 km of recreational trails designed for non-motorized use. Winding through the community, the trails offer spectacular views of Lake Diefenbaker and provide scenic rest points and beach access along the way.

A trailhead kiosk near the public washroom and sport court displays a full map, while interpretive signs along the trails highlight the local plants, wildlife, and history of the area. The packed aggregate surface makes the trails ideal for walking, running, biking, strollers, wagons, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. (Note: the trails are not maintained during the winter season.)
